Looking for love, I believe
Well, I guess I'm pretty certain that I'm looking for someone. I just really haven't got the time to follow the usual courses of action. I work night shift, so the bar scene (like that's ever been a winner) and other night-time social gatherings are out. I DO often have weekends free, or can at least, make them free.
I figure that placing an ad here might offer some opportunity to encounter someone of my liking without having to expend nearly as much of my limited freetime. As I'm in no desperate hurry, and willing to wait for whatever may be, this might work just fine.
First off; the disclaimer: I'm really nothing special, though those that know me well might argue that point. I'm NOT tall, dark and handsome. More like 5 and a half foot, somewhat pale, and not unpleasant looking. As far as body type, I'm fairly well built, but I'm not a work-out kind of guy.
I like to think of myself as an artist and an intellectual, though I've almost always worked blue-collar jobs. I have quite a sense of humour, sometimes even twisted and askew, but there are times you've just gotta laugh it off however you can. I'm usually very kind, generous, and supportive, though I'm good at ripping someone a new one when warranted.
I'm not religious, though I do have a faith, of sorts. I'm a liberal, and a registered Democrat, though I only vote so I have free right to bitch about politics, and occasionally, there is someone I really want in or out of some office.

On that same note, it is equally hard to say what I'm looking for in an "other half". I'm not sure that I truly have a "type", and if I do, I don't know if it would be easy to explain.
Most important thing, for certain, is intellect... brainpan size MUST exceed bra cup size. What, exactly, the ratio and limits are, I'm not sure. Completely flat chested and room temp IQ would fit the basic rule, but not be what I'm looking for. Although... it would be more acceptable than the intimidation of a four digit IQ and breasts the size of weather balloons BTW... good, wide ranging sense of humour is kinda mandatory, because life is a joke, and if you don't get the punchline, what's the point of it all?
I'm interested in a woman who is strong of spirit, but not domineering, laid-back and easy-going, but not lazy, open to new experiences, but not jumping on every band wagon that comes to town, warm and caring, but with a fiery side when needed.
As far as looks go... hmmm, well...
Long hair is a major turn-on for me, though a pixie cut on the right face shape can do just as well.
When it comes to body type, there is a fair range that appeals to me, though a certain amount of artistic proportioning must apply..
